Anushka Sharma enters Shah Rukh Khan’s Mannat for promoting her next, Phillauri
The ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ actress, Anushka Sharma, who has been diligently promoting her next film Phillauri, is trying hands at different ways of promotion.
The actress has come up with a new promotional strategy with #ShashiWasThere memes. As a part of the strategy, she recently revealed a few secrets about Katrina Kaif’s ‘Sheila ki Jawaani.’
Anushka recently took to Shah Rukh Khan’s mansion Mannat to promote her film. She posted a video on Twitter featuring Shah Rukh and her. The video was uniquely captioned, “Bhoot hoon! Apni superpowers use karke Mannat mein ghus toh gayi! Pata hai wahan kya hua? #ShasiWasThere @iamsrk http://bit.ly/ShashiAtMannat (sic).”
The video starts with Shah Rukh Khan hearing strange noises, to which he says that he does not believe in ghosts. After hearing the voices now and then again, the actor gets to know that Shashi is present over there as a spirit. After they both have a wordplay of teaseful remarks, Shah Rukh plants a kiss on Shashi.
Shah Rukh Khan is a very dear friend to Anushka and has therefore, helped her in promoting her film. Both of them have shared screen space in the actress’s debut movie, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. They have worked together in Jab Tak Hai Jaan as well. They are also to be seen together in Imtiaz Ali’s next which is untitled as of now.
On the work front of these actors separately, Shah Rukh Khan last appeared in Raees, while currently working with Anand L Rai. The actor, reportedly, is also doing a cameo in Salman Khan’s Tubelight.
Anushka Sharma who was last seen in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, is also working in Sanjay Dutt’s biopic.
Phillauri is a romantic comedy film which apart from Anushka Sharma, also stars Diljit Dosanjh and Suraj Sharma. The movie is about a spirit (Anushka Sharma) that resides in a tree while waiting for her lover (Diljit Dosanjh). Phillauri which is Anshai Lal’s directorial is releasing on March 24, this year.
