After revealing the first look of the song ‘Bhar Do Jholi Meri’ from his upcoming film Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Salman Khan released the song on this Twitter account today. Crooned by singer Adnan Sami, this special song will surely make you cry. The song, which happens to be Salman Khan’s favourite song from the film, is the first qawali ever sung by Adnan Sami.

Shot inside Aishmuqam Dargah, which is considered as one of the famous dargahs of Kashmir, the song has a beautiful feel to it. Kusar Munir is the man who penned down this magical song ‘Bhar Do Jholi Meri’, which is inspired from a very old traditional qawali. In the song, we see Salman Khan, who plays the role of an innocent Bajrangi devotee, carrying the little girl on his back. In his journey of safely getting the little girl to her homeland, Salman enters a small village. While wandering around, Salman, who looks helpless, lost and emotionally tired, enters a dargah. The scene where Salman Khan is shown teary eyed as he looks up in the sky after making a wish, leaves a feeling of emptiness inside our hearts. Later, we see the actor sitting among the devotees and listening to the song.

‘Bhar Do Jholi Meri’ then shows us glimpses of the chase, as Salman Khan, along with the little girl Munni and Nawazuddin Siddique, tries to escape from the clutches of bad people who are after them. The song is all the more special as singer Adnan Sami has never actually sung a qawali before but he just couldn’t say no to Salman Khan. Not only did he croon it but he also featured in the song. Adnan turned the song into a soulful piece of gem with his voice. ‘Bhar Do Jholi Meri’, right from lyrics to the story that it tells, is a soothing roller-coaster emotional ride.

Director Kabir Khan’s, Bajrangi Bhaijaan tells a story about a soft-hearted innocent man named Pavan, who happens to be a devotee of lord Bajrangi, sets out on a journey to help a little mute Pakistani girl reach safely back to her homeland. The film also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan in the role of Rashika and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who plays the role of a Pakistani journalist. The film will hit the theatres this year on EID.
