Watch: Deepika Padukone Stuns In Bajirao Mastani's Deewani Mastani Song

[tps_footer]When a movie is directed by a director like Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the audience automatically remembers the grandeur, the romance and the magic of his previous creations like ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’, ‘Saawariya’, etc.. the director is famous for the art of making things, life and romance grand and dream-like, the same grandeur is what he produces and offers us in the recently released song ’Deewani Mastani’ from ’Bajirao Mastani’.

The song ‘Deewani Mastani’ opens in the large, grand, majestic and ornament-ally decorated Aina Mahal where we see a beautifully dressed Deepika Padukone singing and dancing for the Peshwa Bajirao Ranveer Singh. The performance Deepika gives as Mastani is flawless and the expression of admiration Ranveer conveys are clearly understood. In the song we also see our Priyanka Chopra playing Kashibai who is witness to the whole eye to eye romance and interaction.

The song has many elements and layers to it. The singers, the composers and of course the director wanted to give depth and authenticity to the song hence we have many artists who have contributed greatly into the making of this beautiful piece. The song has been sung by Shreya Ghoshal and Ganesh Chandanshive, with Qawwali sung by Mujtaba Aziz Naza, Shahdab Faridi, Altmash Faridi, Farhan Sabri. It came to us as a surprise to find out that the music has been given Sanjay Leela Bhansali, with lyrics of Siddharth Garima, Nasir Faraaz is the brains behind the Qawwali lyrics and Ganesh Chandanshive has contributed greatly in writing the Marathi lyrics.

The song has a special effect on the heart of the audience; we love the clothes, the set and the music which Sanjay Leela Bhansali has composed for his audience. The song and the first teaser look has already created a ruckus in our minds and made us inquisitive to know more about the movie and its actors. The film releases on December 18, 2015 worldwide.
