Director Kabir khan finally speaks up to Salman Khan’s Tubelight release being put on hold in Pakistan.
The first much-awaited teaser of Salman Khan’s Tubelight is just a few hours away from the release. While the fans have already watched the first teaser of the film, the official release will take place tonight at 9 PM. Director Kabir Khan held a special screening of teaser earlier today only for Salman Khan fans and the response was immense. The director also interacted with the media post the teaser screening.
While media interaction session, Kabir Khan was asked to comment on the reports of Tubelight not releasing in Pakistan around the Eid. To which he replied, “I don’t think any official announcements have been made on it. We should not react to any such rumours. In fact, we want our film to be shown everywhere and not only in Pakistani. We should not react to this on the basis of any rumours. From our side, we want Tubelight to be screened everywhere.”

To people who have come in late, recently, reports were doing rounds that the release of Salman Khan’s Tubelight has been put on hold in Pakistan. The Pakistan Film Distributors Association and the Pakistan Film Producers Association, along with various local filmmakers, are reportedly trying to stall the release of ‘Tubelight’, citing a better business for the Pakistani films that are scheduled to release at the same time. However, no confirmation regarding the same has been made.
Talking about Tubelight, this film sees his third collaboration with his close friend filmmaker Kabir Khan. Tubelight is based on 1962 Sino-Indian War, this historical war drama also features Chinese actress Zhu Zhu, and the late Om Puri among others. The movie will see the two stars Shah Rukh Khan and Salman sharing the same screen space after a gap of 10 years. SRK would be doing a cameo in the film, however, nothing about his role has been revealed yet. Hoping to catch a glimpse of it in the teaser that will release tonight at 9 PM.
