The 54-year-old actor George Clooney and his human rights lawyer wife are famous for their humanitarian work. George Clooney and Amal donated $10000 to help take care of nine adorable dogs. They donated to a California-based animal rescue care called Camp Cocker Rescue.
The rescue centre shared a post on Facebook which said “Well, you can imagine how blown away we were when we heard that a $10,000 donation was pledged to our doggies. Our generous donors would like to see their donation doubled by all of you, so for the month of May, every dollar you donate will be matched (up until we reach $10,000).”

Initially, the rescue did not disclose the names of the donors but after a little while, a post was released saying George Clooney and Amal Clooney were behind this generous donation. The post said “After we all did happy dances and cried with happiness for this unbelievable matching donation offer -we then asked the donors if (and only if they gave us their permission) … if we could reveal their names to our supporters in order to help us reach our big goal this month,” says the post. “They were so very gracious to give us permission to reveal their names. We want to thank George and Amal Clooney for their unbelievable donation and now it’s time to turn to all of YOU to see if you can match it!!!!”
The rescue was overjoyed to have received this huge amount of money to care for their furry friends. The dogs have been through a lot and are seen to be in a pretty delicate condition as shown in a video posted by the rescue.
