The newly crowned Miss World, Manushi Chhillar reached Mumbai amid huge chaos.
The newly crowned Miss World, Manushi Chhillar received a grand welcome as she arrived in Mumbai in the wee hours of Sunday. This win comes after long 17 years after Priyanka Chopra won the crown in 2000.
As soon as she landed at the airport, she received a grand welcome. Manushi Chhillar received a warm welcome with numerous fans chanting “India, India” as they held up Indian flags and posters of Manushi.
The Miss World also took to Twitter and expressed her happiness of returning back home. “Feels great to be back home. Thank you India, for such a grand welcome,” Manushi tweeted.

However, in a shocking incident, after Manushi Chhillar was welcomed, fans tried blocking her way. Wearing her bejeweled crown, she was seen waving at her fans and even obliged to take pictures with them. However, fans continued to follow her till her car.
She had to really struggle to reach her car as the shutterbugs and fans couldn’t get enough of her. A lot of chaos was seen as she was making her way inside the car. The security was seen pushing fans and photographers. No proper corridor was made for her. Everything seemed to be a mess but it’s great to see that nothing stopped Manushi Chhillar from smiling. She kept her calm amid huge chaos.

Manushi won the crown for her answer in the final round. On being asked, “Which profession deserves the highest salary and why?”, she replied, “I think a mother is of the highest respect. I don’t think it’s just about cash but love and respect she gives to someone. She is the biggest inspiration in my life. Mother should get the highest respect.”
