They together create magic on-screen, be it as a lover or even as siblings. We are talking about Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who were last seen together in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s blockbuster, Devdas in 2002.
14 years later, they briefly shared screen space in Karan Johar‘s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, and it was just not enough for their fans.
They were apparently not working together because of differences between them when Aishwarya was replaced in more than one film opposite SRK. Seeing them together on screen, the fans assumed that they will come together and stories started doing rounds that Karan Johar was making a film with King Khan and the light-eyed beauty.
But unfortunately, the rumors were baseless and untrue. Karan Johar himself dismissed them saying, “No, these are all rumors and conjectures. I don’t even know the script of my next film. How can I have a cast? I have no clue what I am making next. I am taking off in December for two weeks to go somewhere and center my thoughts. I will come back with new, renewed vigor in the new year.”
Earlier, even Aishwarya has clarified that no film with her and Shah Rukh was in the pipeline. “That’s all speculation. I am still reading scripts you will know as and when. I like to surprise,” she had concluded.
Well, these may be baseless now, but all their fans are hoping for these rumors to be true at least sometime in the future!!
