[tps_footer]Mega Star Amitabh Bachchan on Friday spoke in the support of Censor Board who has been in light for its unreasonable censorship. Censor board who gave 40 cuts to Udta Punjab, faced lot of criticism. In their support Amitabh Bachchan said, that their are some rules made by government and the censor board has to abide by those rules. There are some guideline which the film fraternity has to follow while reviewing the film and accordingly they decide which scenes should be edited.
Censor Board was in a black list for many film makers, due to many such irrelevant decisions made by them. Let it be on giving U/A certificate to “Jungle Book”, considering that it might be scary for children or editing off one kissing scene from James Bond starrer ‘Spectre’. Censor board has definitely taken some stupid decisions and hence is opposed by directors of film industry. But Amitabh Bachchan came in their support and kept a valid point, stating that there are rules that one must need to follow.
Well we hope that Censor board follows all the guidelines, but in a sensible manner.[/tps_footer]
