Jhanvi Kapoor’s mom Sridevi would be happier to see her getting married rather than making a Bollywood debut!
The star kid Jhanvi Kapoor has been in news for a very long time. Now and then, there have been reports of the girl making her debut in the Bollywood film industry with some or the other actor. And the suspense was finally over when it was confirmed that she is going to star opposite Shahid Kapoor’s brother Ishaan Khattar in Student Of The Year 2.
But is her mom and actress Sridevi really happy with this? We would say no. In a recent interview with Mid Day, Sri Devi has talked about how as a parent, she would be happier to see Jhanvi getting married rather than making a Bollywood debut.

She says, “She wanted to do the film (SOTY 2) and initially, I wasn’t in favor. I don’t think it’s a bad industry. I am a creation of this world. But as a parent, it would give me greater joy to see her married. But her happiness matters more, and if she does well as an actress, I will be a proud mother.”
Talking further about her daughters, the actress says, “Earlier I would take them (Jhanvi and Khushi) to social gatherings and premieres that I attended. But they (people) thought I was promoting Jhanvi. Walking with my girls made me feel like a proud mother. But to the world, it became a reason to misunderstand me.”
The Bollywood beauty Sridevi is making a comeback in the industry after 5 years with ‘Mom.’ She was last seen in Gauri Shinde’s ‘English Vinglish.’ ‘Mom,’ the film, also stars Akshaye Khanna, Abhimanyu Singh and Pitobash Tripathi in significant roles. Produced by Boney Kapoor, the film has been directed by Ravi Udayawar.
