[tps_footer]As we all know Bollywood actor Salman Khan had surprised everyone after he had played a small role in Riteish Deshmukh’s Marathi film “Lai Bhaari“, which was released in 2014. During the shooting of his film ‘Jai Ho‘, Salman Khan had landed up on the sets of ‘Lai Bhaari‘ and reportedly told director Nishikant Kamat that he wants to act in the film. That’s how he bagged the role in the film.
Salman’s cameo in the Marathi film had surprised everyone and the actor is once again keen to be a part of another Marathi film. Recently, Salman Khan appeared on the Marathi TV show, ‘Chala Hawa Yeu Dya‘ where he revealed that he is eagerly waiting to work in a Marathi film again. “I am planning for next…I am trying….I have requested Riteish Deshmukh to give me a small role not a big one.”
He was also asked on the show if he wants to work as a lead actor in a Marathi film. The Bajrangi Bhaijaan star laughed and reacted saying, “I want to but I won’t be able to do it.”
Salman Khan was nowhere behind to praise Marathi Cinema and the recently released film ‘Sairat‘. The actor said, “Marathi Cinema has gone up with movies like Natsamrat, Sairat, Lai Bhaari. The business of Marathi cinema is too good now. Tickets are also cheap and audiences are very much patient. I think Marathi Cinema will go up.”
In fact, a day ago only, Salman Khan met Marathi blockbuster film Sairat actor Akash Thosar at his Galaxy Apt in Bandra. Salman, who is extremely busy these days with his promotions for his upcoming film Sultan, took time out to meet Sairat star Aakash and they had a good time talking to each other about work.[/tps_footer]
