MUMBAI: A week ago, Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif had written an angry letter to the media asking them to stay away from her private life. This happened due to the media running her bikini photos which were taken while she was enjoying a beach holiday with Ranbir Kapoor.
Now, Katrina Kaif’s colleague and Ranbir Kapoor’s ex, Deepika Padukone, has said something about the incident. “I don’t think we should blame anybody. Something like this has never happened to me,” Deepika said, coolly.
She then asked Katrina Kaif to be careful. “If you are a star, you are a public figure… People will talk about you… You ought to be very careful,” Deepika said.
Deepika Padukone has been a very straightforward person, compared to most of her clamped-up colleagues. Years ago, on Koffee With Karan along with Sonam Kapoor, she poked jokes at Ranbir Kapoor with whom she had just broken up.
Recently, Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone gave a huge hit in ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ and many wondered they were back together again. It doesn’t look like, because Ranbir has been roaming around a lot with Katrina Kaif, but could this warning from Deepika Padukone come because of her closeness to Ranbir?
Now to wait and see what Katrina Kaif has to say about Deepika’s advice to her.
