On Friday, August 21, two Bollywood films hit the theatres; one of them happens to be Abhishek Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor starrer comedy film All is Well. The comedy drama film by director Umesh Shukla had us with the trailer and its soothing music but the film wasn’t entertained with the expected reaction by the audiences at the Box Office on its first day.
All is Well opened to a dull start and only managed to gather around occupancy rate of 15-20% at the Box Office. Abhishek’s first film of the year, All is Well only managed to earn Rs. 2.45 crore net (24.50 million) approx on its first Friday at the Box Office. This indeed is little surprising as a lot was expected from the film as it opened to no major competition at the Box Office. The only other Bollywood film that released alongside All is Well is Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer small budget film Manjhi: The Mountain Man.
Comedy drama All is Well, which also stars Rishi Kapoor, Asin and Supriya Pathak witness a little growth in the evening. The film is doing a decent business in circuits such as Mumbai, Delhi, UP and Gurgaon. All does not seem well for All is Well as it hardly seems possible that the word of mouth will do any trick and succeeds in bringing in major amount of crowd on Saturday and Sunday.
The film will most likely witness a short growth on its first weekend at the Box Office. Bollywood showed us daughter and father’s twisted relationship in PIKU and we absolutely loved it. Now with All Is Well, we get ready to see father and son’s bond in director Umesh Shukla’s comedy drama film. Since there’s no major big film running alongside Abhishek Bachchan’s All Is Well, the film should have done better on its first day. Now we wait for the sort of numbers Abhishek Bachchan’s All is Well succeeds in bringing in on its first weekend at the Box Office.
