1997 – 1998
Salman started 1997 by giving hit film Judwaa, which earned Rs. 15 crore net approx at the Box Office and then began the cycle of hit and average films. Salman went back and forth with hit and average films such as Auzaar (below average), Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya (hit), Jab Pyaar Kissi Se Hota Hai (above average) and Bandhan (semi hit) till 1998. Salman Khan ended 1998 on a good note as the audiences saw him on the silver screening in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, which turned into an all time blockbuster by collecting Rs. 45.25 crore net approx at the Box Office.
