Box Office: Anushka Sharma’s NH10 Going Stronger And Farther 

NH10-Anushka-SharmaThe NH10 sweep at the Bollywood box office continues as the Anushka Sharma-produced Navdeep Singh-directed thriller goes from strength to strength in as many as 700 screens. In its third week now, NH10 has already collected a solid around Rs 30 Crore (300 millions) at the domestic box office.

Released on Friday the 13th of March, NH10 has gone on to collect Rs 20.60 Crore Nett (206 millions) in its first week in India and a further Rs 7.74 crore (77.4 millions) in its second weekend going on to make a fantastic Rs 28.34 crore (283.4 millions) in the first two weeks. With the heat still on in its third week, the low budget film managed to pull around Rs 1.66 Crore (16.6 millions) at the Box Office on its 3rd Friday.

NH10, which marks Anushka‘s debut as a producer, did amazingly well in parts like Delhi, UP and East Punjab. The film also did good business in cities like Mumbai and Pune. However, the film was not well received in Gujarat. Anushka Sharma‘s NH10 is running good at the multiplexes and doing not so great at the single screens.

Directed by Navdeep Singh, the film also stars Neil Bhoopalam and received A certificate from Censor Board after 9 cuts. Audiences loved NH10’s storyline. The film tells a story of a couple’s road trip gone horribly bad. That’s not all, critics praised Anushka Sharma, who impressed everyone with her performance in PK, for her gory serious performance in the film.
