Recently released comedy drama film Bangistan failed to impress the audiences on its opening day at the Box Office. Riteish Deshmukh and Pulkit Samrat starrer film Bangistan had a very poor opening on Friday as it only managed to collect Rs. 1.05 crore net (10.5 million) approx at the Box Office.
Considering the fact that the film did succeed in impressing the audiences with its quirky trailer and equally unique promotional activities, Bangistan couldn’t attract movie lovers at the Box Office on Friday. The film failed to make an impact and was taken down by its competitors. Not much is expected from the film on its first weekend as it couldn’t succeed in making an impress on Friday. By the looks of it, director Karan Anshuman’s Bangistan will see a little growth on Saturday and Sunday, which will still be lower than the amount films usually pull in during weekends.

Bangistan, which also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, has been released on 700 screens. The film managed to receive good reaction in places like Mumbai and Delhi, whereas failed poorly in other circuits. Directed by Karan Anshuman, the comedy satire follows the journey of two blundering terrorists, Riteish Deshmukh and Pulkit Samrat, who are on a mission to change the world. The film is packed with high-spirited comedy, drama and other important entertaining elements. Produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar, the film also stars gorgeous Kick actress Jacqueline Fernandez.
Even with good star-cast and a hilarious story, Bangistan created no magic on the silver screen and sadly couldn’t even pull good numbers at the Box Office. On the other hand, Tom Cruise’s Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation is doing a fabulous business at the Indian Box Office and managed to collect Rs. 6 crore net (60 million) approx. on its first day. This Hollywood film surely is giving a very tough competition to Riteish Deshmukh and Pulkit Samrat’s Bangistan. Now all our eyes are on the sorts of numbers Bangistan pulls in on its first weekend run at the Box Office.
