Box Office Battle: Could Priyanka Chopra’s Baywatch BEAT Deepika Padukone’s Xander Cage?

Priyanka - Deepika

We all know Bollywood beauties Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra are two actresses who are making their presence felt in the international circuit with their respective released Hollywood films – film xXx: Return of Xander Cage and Baywatch.

Deepika Padukone’s Hollywood debut film xXx: Return of Xander Cage was quite in a buzz during its release in India. Similarly, Priyanka Chopra starrer Baywatch is quite in the news but the film has turned out disappointing at the Indian Box Office. Despite carrying a great pre-release buzz, both the films could not live up to audience expectations.

xXx: Return of Xander Cage managed to earn a decent collection of around Rs 1.75 crore nett (Rs 17 million) from the paid previews. On the other hand, Baywatch earned Rs 25 Lakh nett approx. on Thursday (Paid previews). Deepika’s Hollywood release surely took a lead than Priyanka’s Baywatch in the paid previews.

On its first full day, the film collected Rs 6.25 crore net approx (62 million) which is a fair number for a Hollywood release. Taking the full day collection, Deepika Padukone starrer collected Rs 8 crore net (80 million) including paid previews.
