Tigmanshu Dhulia’s Bullett Raja is on a shaky wicket post week one. The film has had very poor collections in its first week and has managed to only collect around Rs 297 million (29.70 crore) nett.

The film is a wash out in Mumbai but has shown some decent collections from Delhi, UP and Rajasthan. What’s shocking is the fact that one was expecting the film to collect more over the weekend, but Bullett Raja has taken a full week to reach the 297 million figure.

Both, Sonakshi Sinha and Saif Ali Khan have had a bad run this year. Sonakshi has had five releases this year and out of these five the verdict on four has been disastrous. All her films have fallen flat at the Box Office. From Himmatwala to Lootera, from Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobaara to the latest Bullett Raja, none have raked in the monies that were expected. Her last release of the year R… Rajkumar is also not carrying good reviews and the word of mouth of the film is also not encouraging.

Coming to Saif, he has had three releases this year and only one film has proved to be a winner at the Box Office and that’s Race 2. The other two films are: his home production, Go Goa Gone and Bullett Raja.

Bullett Raja, released on November 29, 2013 has got cold shoulder at the Box Office. Friday, November 29, 2013 the film collected Rs 70 million (7 crore) nett, followed by Saturday, November 30, 2013 where the film collected Rs 60 million (6 crore) nett. On Sunday, December 1, 2013 the business was Rs 80 million (8 crore) nett making it a total of Rs 210 million (21 crore) nett.

All said and done, we hope that this film should recover its production cost if not anything else, but then with the way things are going it looks like a tall order.
