xXx: Return of Xander Cage managed a decent collection of around 1.75 crore net (Rs 17 million) from the paid previews. On it’s first full day, the film collected Rs 6.25 crore net approx (62 million) which is a fair number for a Hollywood release. Taking the full day collection, Deepika Padukone starrer collected Rs 8 crore net (80 million) including paid previews.
xXx: Return of Xander Cage has done better than Bollywood films like Finding Fanny and Piku on it’s first day. Sadly, since the film released on Saturday, with a two day weekend what can the film do. If the film had three days it would have picked up over 21 crore net which is not possible now.
On the other hand, OK Jaanu had only 15% growth on second day. The film collected Rs 3.50 crore net approx (35 million) on it’s first day and Rs 4 crore net approx (40 million) on second day. Taking the total two day collection of Rs 7.5 crore net approx. (75 million). This was mainly because of xXx: Return of Xander Cage which had its full release on Saturday.
