MUMBAI: This is an exciting journey for Salman Khan’s ‘Ek Tha Tiger’. While ETT’s 3 day collections stood at Rs 610 million (61 crores), the weekend figures too are exciting.

YRF’s ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ collected in the range of Rs 170 million (17 crores) on Saturday, taking the total up to Rs 780 million (78 crores).

The movie saw tremendous growth on Sunday, from cities where it was low on Saturday. And now “Sunday, the 19th of August, 2012” can also be officially written as ‘The Tiger Sunday’ with golden ink in the ‘history’ of Box Office!

Salman Khan’s magic continued, and the Sunday figure of ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ came in the range of Rs 220 million (22 crores).

After 5 days, ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ stands at Rs 1 billion (100 crores) net at the Box Office.

Monday being the Eid holiday can do gigantic business for ‘Ek Tha Tiger’. Booking reports from various multiplexes and single screen cinemas suggest that ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ will have a second ‘opening’ day situation on Monday.
