This was expected from Ek Villain; well the film has taken a thunderous opening at the Box Office and is expected to do great business as the week progresses.
Ek Villain has managed to collect around Rs 160 million (Rs 16 crore) nett at the Indian Box Office on day one.
Now, the all India collection of Ek Villain is similar to that of Salman Khan‘s Jai Ho which is a great achievement for a film that stars Sidharth Malhotra, Shraddha Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh.
What is surprising is the fact that Ek Villain released in lesser screens as compared to Jai Ho and has done better business in multiplexes than in single screens. The collections have been fantastic all over with some circuits recording the highest collections for the year.
