MUMBAI: UTV Motion Pictures’ ‘Himmatwala’, directed by Sajid Khan, starring Ajay Devgn and southern star Tamannaah, has collected an average figure in its 5 days at the box office.
On Monday, Day 4, the collections of ‘Himmatwala’ expectedly dipped, to a low Rs 41.5 million (4.15 crore) net.
Tuesday, Day 5 remained in the same range with collections of approximately Rs 40 million (4 crore) net.
As reported, ‘Himmatwala’ opened on 29 March, with decent collections of Rs 118.2 million (Rs 11.82 crore net) on Friday, Day 1. Saturday saw the collections nosedive to Rs 83.5 million (Rs 8.35 crore) net, after the film garnered some terrible reviews.
On Day 3, Sunday the film saw a very mild up swing, bringing the three day total up to a dismal Rs 292.7 million (Rs 29.27 crore) net.
The five day total of Sajid Khan’s ‘Himmatwala’ stands at Rs 374.2 million (37.42 crore) net.
