[tps_footer]Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania Day 2 collections starring Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan has managed to collect approximately Rs 110 million (Rs 11 Crore) nett at the Indian Box Office on Saturday.
On the first day from the initial reports , Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania has managed to collect around Rs 90 million (Rs 9 crore) nett at the Indian Box Office.
This was a good growth on Saturday, making the two day collection in the range of Rs 200 million (Rs 20 crore) nett, assuring it will touch the Rs 500 million (Rs 50 crores) nett mark soon at the Indian Box Office.
The collections have gone further up in North India due to the appreciation in the northern circuits and is doing good business there.
Directed by Shashank Khaitan and produced by Karan Johar, the film features Varun Dhawan as Humpty Sharma and Alia Bhatt as Kavya Pratap Singh in the lead roles. The film is highly inspired by Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge.
Ek Villain is still going strong and giving Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania a tough competition.
Bobby Jasoos is struggling to survive and Lekar Hum Deewana Dil has been a total washout. Next week will see the release of Hate Story 2 and let’s see how the film does at Box Office but if one looks at it critically, then Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania will get a clean two week run if Hate Story 2 does not work at the Box Office, until Salman Khan‘s Kick will release on July 25, 2014.[/tps_footer]
