The film has performed exceptionally well in Asian regions like China where it topped the charts for weeks. In USA and UK as well the performance has been phenomenal, given the franchise the film offered. ‘The Hunger Games: Mocking Jay Part 2’ has gained an impressive collection of $530 million which converts to Rs. 3200 crores net approx at the global box office.

Unlike the James Bond film, ‘The Hunger Games: Mocking Jay Part 2′ failed to make any kind of buzz in India and the film went surprisingly unnoticed. Spectre has touched the $800 million mark at global box office that converts to Rs. 5000 crores net approx. Spectre has also performed well in the Indian market raking in Rs. 32 crores net approx (Rs. 320 million).

The 2nd part of the film sees Katniss Everdeen teaming up with her District 13 friends Gale (Liam Hemsworth), Finnick (Sam Claflin) and Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) to summon other fighters for a war against President Snow. It all comes to an end in the final showdown where the 76th ‘Hunger Games‘ will end with a bang to liberate the citizens of Panem. Out of all the previous releases the response to this final part has been comparatively slower. However the film did well among its fan base globally.
