Comedy king turned Bollywood actor Kapil Sharma’s second film, ‘Firangi’ has released today at the Box Office. The film remained a talk of the town before the release. Of course, for the man himself- Kapil Sharma. From trailer to songs, everything about the film has been spoken well. However, now that the film has released today, Box Office and audience review would decide the fate.
Firangi has witnessed a low opening of around 15% in the morning shows. This is quite below the expectation. The film is doing a bit better in the Delhi NCR and Punjab regions with around 20%. The period-action-comedy film has received mixed reviews from the audience. If the word-of-mouth is positive, this will give a good push in the collection for a good lifetime run.
The film has released to approx. 2000 screens and is expected to witness a fair business on its first day. Well, there is no bankable lead actress in the film, which means the film will be riding only on Kapil’s shoulder.
Kapil Sharma’s debut feature, Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon, was a runaway hit at the box-office. Despite that, the ace comedian is sure to rule the Box office this year with his simple character. He is already winning hearts with his unique role that we have seen in the trailer.
