[tps_footer]Kareena Kapoor Khan and Arjun Kapoor‘s Ki and Ka, which released yesterday on April 1, had opened to the dull response at the Box Office on its first day. The film, which focuses on gender equality, earned Rs. 7.25 crore net (72 million) approx. on the first day. Also, the opening day occupancy trend of “Ki and Ka” is similar to “Kapoor and Sons“.
Coming across an interesting storyline, the film mainly limited to metro cities. The two main cities Mumbai and Delhi happened to be good for the film with 2.25 crore nett (22.5 million) approx. While Mumbai and Delhi helped to make good business, cities across Gujarat, Rajasthan remained poor for the film.
With unique storyline, we hope the film might make a good business on weekend days. Well, Ki and Ka is the solo release of the film and this can be an advantage for the film during the weekend days to earn well. Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor also left no stone unturned with the promotions of the film. The film created quite a buzz for its unique and hard-hitting promotions, but, unfortunately, has an average opening on its first day at the Box Office.
Directed by R Balki, the film is based on a gender reversal of stereotypes and both the actors, Kareena and Arjun are portraying totally different look in the film.[/tps_footer]
