MUMBAI: Fox Star Studios‘ ‘Jolly LLB’ directed by Subhash Kapoor’s, starring Boman Irani, Arshad Warsi, Saurabh Shukla and Amrita Rao has opened to a middling response at the box office.
On its first day, the courtroom drama ‘Jolly LLB’ managed to do business of approximately Rs 31 million (Rs 3.10 crore) net. After some pick up on the weekend, the three day total of the film is in the range of Rs 120 million (Rs 12 crore) net.
‘Jolly LLB’, expectedly, did not find any takers in single screens. Majority of the business as reported above comes from the multiplexes. The other releases of the week which released with this Arshad Warsi starrer, namely YRF’s ‘Mere Dad Ki Maruti’ and the psychological thriller ‘3G’ have fared worse at the box office.
