[tps_footer]Bollywood film ‘Tamasha’ starring Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone has got good collection on its 15th day at the box office. The film is facing very minimal competition as there are no new releases this weekend, which has boosted its performance over its third weekend at the box office. The film has managed to collect Rs. 60 lakhs net approx on its 15th day at the box office, making its current total to Rs. 64.34 crores net approx (Rs. 643.4 million). The drop has been only 60% compared to the previous week that experienced 80% drop in business.
In its first week at the box office ‘Tamasha’ saw business of Rs. 52.93 crores net approx and in the second week the collections dropped very high. The second week collection was only Rs. 10.81 crores net approx which is very low compared to the first week. ‘Tamasha‘ is expected to finish at Rs. 68 crores net approx which is similar to the figure of last year’s release ‘Rockstar’ starring Ranbir Kapoor. ‘Tamasha’ is made on a budget of Rs. 75 crores approx which makes it commercially unsuccessful. However the film has gained lot of fan following among the masses owing to Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone.
The film is facing significant competition from Hate Story 3 that released last weekend. ‘Tamasha’ starring Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone in lead roles has received lot of appreciation from movie buffs who love seeing the two actors on screen together. Both the actors have their own league of chemistry, owing to which the film got good word of mouth. With the stagnant pace of the film currently, we wait to see its lifetime business at the box office before ‘Dilwale’ and ‘Bajirao Mastani‘ releases.[/tps_footer]
