Seems like there’s no slowing down for Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan as the film continues to do a fabulous business at the Box Office even on its day 5. Not only on weekends but the film is doing an amazing business even on the week days! On its first Tuesday, Bajrangi Bhaijaan earned Rs. 21 crore net (210 million) approx. With this, director Kabir Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan has collected Rs. 147.50 crore net (1475 million) approx. in just five days at the Box Office!
To bring in these kind of numbers on weekdays is not only surprising but also extraordinary as films mostly drop down and only manage to pull in numbers like Rs. 5 or 8 crore max on working days. On Monday itself the film earned Rs. 26.50 crore net (265 million) approx. at the Box Office. Salman Khan’s action drama film Bajrangi Bhaijaan is receiving immense reaction in theatres with occupancy rate of 25-30%. On its opening day itself, Bajrangi Bhaijaan drove past Kick’s opening collections record by minting Rs. 26 crore net (260 million) approx. at the Box Office.
Directed by Kabir Khan, the film also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Harshaali Malhotra. The film tells a story about a soft-hearted innocent man named Pavan, played by Salman Khan, who happens to be a devotee of lord Bajrangi, sets out on a journey to help a little mute Pakistani girl reach safely back to her homeland. Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan surely is one of the very few Bollywood films that we saw do such a splendid business at the Box Office this year or in a long time.
On the coming Friday, the film will complete its one week run and we look forward to see the sort of numbers it brings on its second Friday at the Box Office and also Bajrangi Bhaijaan’s first week Box Office collections.
