Box Office: Salman Khan’s Bodyguard sees steady collections in week 2

MUMBAI: Salman Khan’s Bodyguard has collected approximately Rs 200 million (Rs 20 crore) net at the box office in its second week run.
With this the total net collections of Bodyguard stand at approximately Rs 1.37 billion (Rs 137 crore). 
As was reported earlier by Businessofcinema.com, the movie collected Rs 1.11 billion (Rs 111 crore) in India in its first nine days.
The India net collections of Bodyguard has surpassed that of Khan’s previous hit Ready, which saw net collections of Rs 1.2 billion (Rs 120 crore) in its lifetime run across India. On the other hand, Dabangg’s lifetime collections across India stand at Rs 1.45 billion (Rs 145 crore). It now remains to be seen whether Bodyguard manages to surpass Dabangg at the box office.
