MUMBAI: Anand L Rai’s ‘Raanjhanaa’, produced by Krishka Lulla, and starring South superstar Dhanush, Sonam Kapoor and Abhay Deol, has built a steady buzz over the first weekend.
As reported, on Day 1 the film did a business of approximately Rs 52 million (Rs 5.20 crore) net. However, by Saturday, Day 2, the Sonam-Dhanush starrer had picked up the pace. The three day total of ‘Raanjhanaa’ was adequate in the range of Rs 199 million (Rs 19.90 crore) net.
With decent word-of-mouth and reviews, ‘Raanjhanaa’ is likely to see a consistent first week.
