MUMBAI: Last week’s new release Teen Thay Bhai has had a poor opening at the box office. The movie’s net opening weekend collections stood at approximately Rs 25 million (Rs 2.5 crore).
On the other hand, Akshay Kumar’s comic caper Thank You saw net collections of Rs 290 million (Rs 29 crore) in it’s first week run at the box office. In its second weekend, the movie saw net collections of approximately Rs 70 million (Rs 7 crore), taking its net total to Rs 360 million (Rs 36 crore).
The movie saw poor occupancy of around 5-10% on its opening day, however it did pick up slightly over the weekend.
