MUMBAI: The Dharmendra, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol starrer Yamla Pagla Deewana has taken a good start at the box office in its opening weekend.
As was reported by Businessofcinema.com, the movie’s Friday collections stood at Rs 76.5 million (Rs 7.65 crore). While the movie’s net collections on Saturday dropped to Rs 63 million (Rs 6.30 crore), Sunday saw collections picking up again with Rs 78.5 million (Rs 7.85 crore). Thus, taking the opening weekend net collections to Rs 218 million (Rs 21.8 crore).
On the other hand, No One Killed Jessica’s second weekend collections stood at Rs 12.5 million (Rs 1.25 crore) on Friday, Rs 14.2 million (Rs 1.42 crore) on Saturday and Rs 15.5 million (Rs 1.55 crore) on Sunday, taking the second weekend’s net collections total to Rs 42.2 million (Rs 4.22 crore). With this, the movie’s total net collections so far stand at Rs 247.7 million (Rs 24.77 crore).
