BOX OFFICE: ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ Is Ranbir Kapoor’s Biggest Opening

MUMBAI: Dharma Productions’ ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’, directed by Ayan Mukherjee and starring Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Aditya Roy Kapur and Kalki Koechlin has had an impressive day 1.

As reported, the film opened yesterday, 31 May with a bumper 95% to 100% occupancy. ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ did a roaring business in the range of Rs 197.5 million (Rs 19.75 crore) net, doing exceedingly well in the North, Delhi and Rajasthan.

‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ is doing fantastically in the overseas market too, with UAE being the frontrunner in terms of collections.

With positive reviews and such impressive response, ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ is poised for the coveted 100 crore club.
