Anil D. Ambani led Reliance Entertainment’s pioneering OTT Platform, Chillx announced its innovative content distribution partnership with Xender. The Collaboration provides Chillx access to 100 mn monthly active users.
Within just a year from its launch Chillx has emerged as a popular choice with Indian smartphone brands as it offers a wide range of digital entertainment videos, short-films, premium on demand movie content and casual games across multiple Indian languages. Chillx is truly a multi-lingual app as besides serving content in the language of choice, the users can also customize the user interface in a regional language of their choice. An all in one, entertainment app with multiple languages allows Chillx to cater to the masses spread across the Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities of India where vernacular language is the preferred option.
Through this strategic tie-up with Chillx, Xender users will now have easy access to a vast array of entertainment options. Users can get customized content offering through a preference setting. Currently, there is a choice of English, Hindi & Telugu videos and other languages will be added in days to come.
Xender is an application that connects two or more smartphones to share photos, applications, and other media. The consumer uptake in initial trial runs has been very encouraging as Chillx added almost a million-user base through this partnership.
