xXx – The Return of Xander Cage director reveals something about Deepika Padukone being a part of the upcoming instalment.
With her Hollywood debut as ‘Serena‘ in this ‘xXx – The Return of Xander Cage’, Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone has carved a global name. The actress won hearts with her badas* role in the film opposite Vin Diesel. The presence of the Bajirao Mastani star and her promo efforts in India with Vin Diesel ensured a high profile for the launch. Also, the initial ticket sales were quite impressive for a Hollywood action film in India. And guess what? The makers are planning to come up with the fourth part of the hit franchise and Deepika Padukone is a part of the film.

Director D.J. Caruso, who directed XXX: Return of Xander Cage confirmed the news on Twitter during his interaction session with fans. A fan asked if Deepika aka Serena will be a part of the upcoming instalment, Caruso replied, “Oh yes”. He also confirmed that the whole cast will be coming back together.

Meanwhile, Deepika has geared up for the Bollywood film, Padmavati that will be directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The film also stars B-town hunks Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor in the lead roles. Padmavati is releasing this year in November.
