Comedian Kapil Sharma is falling deep into trouble ever since he tweeted about the corruption and how a BMC official demanded him the bribe of Rs 5 Lakh for his Andheri office construction. Many political parties attacked the comedian star and asked him to reveal the name of the officer who demanded the bribe from him. With another update over his controversy, Kapil Sharma will be summoned to Versova Police station to record his statement on the destruction of mangroves in his bungalow’s backyard in Andheri.
On Sunday, FIR was lodged against Kapil Sharma after which police have begun collecting the evidence and soon notice will be sent to Kapil over the same. Later his statement on the same will be recorded before the police. This is not for the first time; a FIR was lodged against Kapil Sharma after he tweeted about the corruption and questioned PM Narendra Modi about the ‘Ache Din’.
Well, along with Kapil Sharma’s bungalow, many other adjoining bungalows are under supervision for the destruction of mangroves.
On September 9, comedian turned actor had landed into a major trouble by tweeting about corruption. He even tagged PM Narendra Modi in his tweet asking about ‘Ache Din’. Kapil received lots of flak from political parties and parties even threatened to protest against his show. His tweet kicked up a storm but Kapil has not made any comments regarding the controversy since September 9.
On the other hand, many revelations from the BMC officials came out after the tweet row. According to reports, BMC had found illegal construction in 15 flats of the Goregaon building. Unauthorized construction has been carried out on the 9th floor of the building, where Kapil Sharma too has a flat.
Reportedly, earlier, BMC had issued a notice to Kapil on June 23 for not constructing the flat according to the original plan. The BMC had issued the second notice to Kapil Sharma after the actor did not follow the notice of illegal construction.
