Well, we are talking about his character Ayan in the film ADHM. The song Channa Mereya, that released today, shows the heartbreaking scenes between him and Anushka Sharma (Alizeh). His unrequited love for Anushka is clearly evident in the song. Well, they are playing best friends in the film. Although his love is marrying someone else, Ayan didn’t take the rejection on his ego. In fact, he is a part of every marriage function of his bestie/lover.
If you watch the song properly, you will see that RK has applied Mehendi on his hands. Not only that, he is even singing on her auspicious day, keeping aside his own sorrow. But, his pain is clearly visible in his eyes. However, his love for Alizeh is so deep and passionate, that he is being a very good friend to her rather than ruining her wedding day.
ADHM will be releasing on October 28. It also stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Fawad Khan in pivotal roles.
