Finally, after a long wait and lots of guessing game, Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma’s next gets a title. Yes, the film, which is directed by Imtiaz Ali, is called ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ starring Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma. The makers of the film had to brainstorm a lot behind the title of the film and finally, the film gets the name.
After months of wait, Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma took to Twitter last night to make an official announcement about the release date as well as the title of the film. The first poster looks quite vibrant, refreshing and going by the backdrop, there’s surely lots of travelling as well. ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ is an obvious take on the Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal.
The makers are releasing the film on August 4, thus averting a box office clash with Akshay Kumar’s ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’. However, the gap between the releases of both the films is only of one week. SRK’s film will get a good one-week run if the audience accepts the content. While Akshay’s film will release a week after on August 11. Well, both films will get their own audiences. However, the clash has always led to damage in the revenues but this time, SRK has played safe and with positivity.
The romantic drama has widely been shot in Prague, Amsterdam, Lisbon and Budapest. This is for the third time Anushka and Shah Rukh Khan are coming together after ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’ and ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’. Their chemistry in the film is surely what we are looking forward.
“Seeking your love,” Imtiaz posted for fans on Twitter, alongside the film’s first two looks, which carry the tagline — “What you seek is seeking you”.
