MUMBAI: Salman Khan may be well helping Sooraj Pancholi get his big break in Bollywood, but the star has made it pretty clear that he was not connected in anyway with the Jiah Khan suicide case and charges against him being interference in the relationship is absurd.
“I was not even aware of Sooraj-Jiah relationship. I came to know of it through a news magazine,” says a surprised Salman Khan. Meanwhile, as Sooraj Pancholi awaits his bail plea, he is gearing up for making his debut in Salman Khan’s home production a remake of the Jackie Shorff, Subhash Ghai classic ‘Hero’.
Salman Khan also makes it clear that, Aditya Pancholi never spoke to him about the troubled relationship his son and Jiah Khan were going through. He finds it ridiculous that Rabbiya Khan, has put allegations of him interfering.
“I need to think of my own life and have no time to meddle with others,” added Salman Khan.
He also expressed sympathy to Jiah Khan’s family who lost a daughter. But when such unwanted claims are made, Salman Khan could not keep mum about things.
So now with Salman Khan, clearing the air about his non-involvement in the case, he can surely breathe free and concentrate on his films.
As far as Sooraj Pancholi and Salman Khan’s home production is concerned, well only time will decide the fate of the ‘Hero’ remake.
