MUMBAI: Salman Khan’s next film ‘Mental’ finally gets a release date. ‘Mental’, directed by Sohail Khan, will release on 24 January, 2014.
The Republic Day weekend will be a big draw for Salman Khan, even though ‘Mental’ is his first major release around this national holiday. Over the past few years, Salman Khan films have tended to release around Eid.
‘Mental’ went through many postponements while selecting the lead actress opposite Salman Khan. ‘Mental’ was to have an Eid 2013 release, but started shooting only in March 2013.
Sohail Khan has confirmed that ‘Mental’ will tentatively have a 24 January, 2014 release, and that they are “shooting continuously” to meet this release date.
Salman Khan stars in ‘Mental’, alongside Sana Khan, Daisy Shah and Tabu. Now the wait is to see whether Salman Khan will be celebrating Eid this Republic Day.
