Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has walked the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival for the past thirteen years and at Film Festival 2014 she is all set to do the honours once again.
The former beauty queen who was appointed as the brand ambassador of L’Oreal in 2003 joined the likes of Eva Longoria, Andie MacDowell and Penelope Cruz in representing the international cosmetic company.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been the first Indian actress to walk the Cannes Red Carpet and has received both positive as well as negative reviews about what she has been wearing.
For her debut appearance at Cannes back in 2002, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan shimmered and shone in a stunning gold Neeta Lulla sari with rich gold jewellery.
In the year 2007 Aishwarya walking the read carpet with her husband Abhishek Bachchan and looked gorgeous in a white strapless gown with a diamond-studded choker.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan appearance at Cannes in 2009 is till date considered as her best ever red carpet appearance. On Day one of the Cannes Film Festival 2009, she wowed all with her floor-sweeping Roberto Cavalli strapless white gown and on day two Aishwarya looked drop dead gorgeous a grey Elie Saab one-shoulder gown and slicked-back hair.
In 2010, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan looked stunning in a lavender mermaid cut gown by Elie Saab followed by an elegant strapless black dress by Armani Prive.
Last year in 2013, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan looked gorgeous in a black and grey evening gown by Elie Saab for the premiere of Inside Llewyn Davis. She even wore designer nine yards by Sabyasachi Mukherjee, Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla and Tarun Tahiliani.
