This Deleted Scene From The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 2 Will Make You Cry!

Hunger-games[tps_footer]The Hunger Games movie series were undoubtedly one of the best movie franchises based on books that were made. Based on the series by author Suzanne Collins, the last movie of the 4-part series : The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 2was the perfect end for the two star crossed lovers of District 12. While the ending was not “over-the-top” sweet, it certainly was good enough for fans and especially the war-worn Katniss Everdeen.

The series never was too graphically violent inspite of having more than enough opportunity to do so. Katniss and Peeta’s relationship was rather slow-burning, gradual and it all finally came together in the last movie. Probably some of the most movie moments from the film are when in the first movie Katniss braves certain death to go seek medicine for Peeta. The “real, or not real?” moments of Katniss helping Peeta recover from his PTSD are incredibly moving. In fact, almost all the selfless interactions between the two tributes are rather loveable.

Recently, a deleted scene cropped up that features a flashback scene starring Katniss and Peeta, as featured on the upcoming Blu-ray and DVD release of Mockingjay, Part 2.In this flashback scene, Peeta’s thoughts wander off to the initial training for the 74th Hunger Games. When Katniss sees that he’s being mocked by Cato and the The Careers, she jumps in to give him some strategic advice. Well, looks like the star crossed lover’s love is truly forever.
