Hollywood Star Orlando Bloom Lands In Visa Trouble At Delhi!

[tps_footer]Popular Hollywood actor Orlando Bloom recently faced an embarrassing moment after being sent back due to improper visa documents by the Indian Government. The English actor landed in Delhi but was sent back within 24 hours as he was not carrying a visa, permitting him to enter the country. Apparently the actor had applied for an e-visa which had been rejected due to some reasons. The actor took the flight under an impression that he would be granted a visa upon arrival in India. Orlando Bloom was invited to India by UP CM Akhilesh Yadav in order to promote tourism.

What was more sad is that according to sources, the actor was treated disrespectfully by the airport staff. Orlando Bloom was suffering from severe stomach ache and had asked the staff for some time to sort the issue out. However the actor was pressurized into catching the flight as he was apparently being threatened that the flight would not leave without him. However within 24 hours due to intervening by Amar Singh and Sushma Swaraj the actor was given a fresh visa and was allowed to later visit Taj Mahal.

Well surely it had to be a really embarrassing moment for Orlando Bloom who is a renowned actor even in India. The airport staff however could not recognize the actor despite him pleading that he is a celebrity. He arrived at 1.30 in the night and was sent back after all the visa related confusion. Apparently the actor had applied for a visa on November 30 through the e-visa facility but did not check the confirmation/rejection mail and decided to travel without a visa as he thought he would be given one after arrival.

After all the confusion he got the opportunity to visit the historic monument of Agra, Taj Mahal. Earlier this year actor Leonardo DiCaprio had also visited Taj Mahal. Orlando Bloom is best known for his work in the Pirates of the Caribbean series and will soon be seen in the next installment with Johnny Depp.[/tps_footer]
