Australian rapper Iggy Azalea who is taking over American hip-hop scene has good news coming her way every other day. After bagging her fair share of awards at the Billboard Music Awards this year, the blonde beauty is now engaged to her boyfriend Nick Young. The duo started dating in October 2013 and wedding was something that was bound to happen sooner or later for them.
The adorable couple of the 24-year-old rapper and the 30-year-old NBA player has been open about their relationship since the beginning and have made some very cute appearances together over the time. The Lakers player popped the question on the eve of his birthday bash yesterday and the blonde beauty immediately said yes before picking up the diamond ring worth a whooping amount of $500,000! Nick Young created the perfect ideal proposal scenario by romantically going down on one knee and proposing to the love of his life. Iggy recently wrote a very touching speech on her Instagram account that’ll make you smile, “I’ll save the really mushy stuff for inside your birthday card that way you can blackmail me with it later. For now it’s just a simple: I looooove you, I’d do anything for you. Glad you exist etc etc. Ps. If we get old together don’t die before me. (Jk)”
Iggy’s career took off after getting signed to rapper T.I.’s record label Grand Hustle in 2012. Since then she has give multiple hits including songs Fancy, Black Widow, Problem amongst others. She was awarded the Breakout Star award at Billboard Music Award and won Top Rap Artist and Top Rap Song. Her album The New Classic was nominated for Best Rap Album at Grammy Awards 2015.
