Julia Roberts, one of the most sort after names of Hollywood is very clear about her priorities. For her, it’s her kids that come first and the rest can either wait or follow.
Julia Roberts, who has nine year old twins Hazel and Phinnaeus and six year old Henry with her husband Daniel Moder, only accepts one movie role a year so she can spend most of her time with her family.
“I make one film per year and that’s a good balance. My older kids have just turned nine and my son is six; they still need me. My family takes up a lot of my time and my creative energy, but I’m lucky to have worked enough already to allow myself to take time off.” stated a proud mother.
Julia Roberts insists her family life is just like every other and she worries about little things like her kids finishing their homework in time.
“When I see my friends struggling to juggle both, I feel very privileged. I act less, but better; I have always been demanding as far as my work is concerned and now I am difficult.” informed this Oscar Winning Actor.
Roberts claims showbiz has changed since her 90s heyday and is amazed by today’s young actresses who manage to cope with the pressure.
Julia Roberts has been emotionally drained post her half sister Nancy Motes, who died of an apparent drug overdose on February 09, 2014.
Julia has even cancelled a number of public engagements following her sister’s death in order to spend time with her family. Neither she nor her mother were seen at the public memorial held for Nancy Motes on March 08, 2014 by Nancy’s partner John Dilbeck. Julia Roberts is said to have held her own private goodbye service with close family.
The only public engagement Julia has attended since the death, was the Oscars at the beginning of March, and has been seen rarely in public.
