LOS ANGELES: Katharine McPhee has been considered a one of Hollywood’s rising star and kind of coined as an American sweetheart since she hit the scene on ‘American Idol’, but with her recent lip locked photos with her married ‘Smash’ director Michael Morris, has raised a lot of eyebrows.
‘Page Six’ reported that Michael’s wife and the mother of their three children, Mary McCormack asked him to leave their Los Angeles home as soon as the pictures came out.
This scandal may not affect McPhee’s professional life, but is expected to tarnish her image of a ‘good girl’ for sure.
This is not the first time Hollywood is witnessing something like this. Kristen Stewart, Leann Rimes or even Angelina Jolie, all of them took a lot of heat for their famous affairs. Could the former ‘Smash’ star actually use the media attention to bolster her celeb status?
