Hollywood’s King of Pop Michael Jackson’s dream house in California is being listed and openly going on the market for above $100 million approx. The 2700-acre property that once had amusement park rides and animals in it, has now been cleared out seeking for potential buyers. According to reports, the seller is opting for a low-key sale by discouraging tours of the property.
Michael Jackson had bought the ranch for an amount of $19.5 million in the year 1987 and continued to live there till 2005. The plush villa consists of nearly 22 structures with six bedrooms attached with staff quarters. The ranch also has two separate guest rooms of four bedrooms and two bedrooms respectively. Neverland includes a swimming pool, a barbecue area, basketball and tennis court and a movie theatre and auditorium with the seating capacity of 50.
After undergoing some capital changes in the property, the pop singer had entered into a joint venture with investment firm Colony Capital that upgraded the ranch with intentions to sell it later on. While the amusement parks and animal rides have all been removed, the railroad track and train station made by Michael Jackson are still there. The floral clock that spells out Neverland has also been kept intact.
Michael Jackson who is an icon, very correctly termed as the King of Pop passed away in June 2009 due to organ failure. His death was a shock that put the entire world into grief. The beautiful property of Neverland will forever be remembered for being MJ’s dream house.
