Miley Cyrus has been hospitalised after an allergic reaction to antibiotics and has been forced to postpone the remainder of her U.S. Bangerz Tour dates.
Miley Cyrus continues to be hospitalized in Kansas City after suffering from an extreme allergic reaction to antibiotics she was taking to fight off a sinus infection. Cyrus has been admitted into the hospital after having an allergic reaction to the antibiotic cephalexin.
Miley Cyrus, twenty one, has to cancel her scheduled Friday, April 18, 2014 show in Nashville, Tenn as well as her April 19, 2014 gig in Louisville, Ky. News of the cancellations comes days after Cyrus rescheduled her Kansas City, Mo. and St. Louis, Mo. Performances.
According to a statement issued by concert promotion company Live Nation, Miley Cyrus will be making up the seven concerts that she had to cancel in August 2014. In addition to the exiting ones, Miley Cyrus has also added two concerts in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia.
Miley Cyrus’s Official Statement Said:
“Miley was suffering from a sinus infection during her tour. She was prescribed the antibiotic Cephalexin, which she’s now suffered an extreme allergic reaction to. This type of extreme reaction can last from five to twenty seven days in these types of cases. She will remain hospitalized and is under a doctor’s care until we see some improvement in her condition and is asking for your compassion and privacy at this time. Miley is devastated about missing shows and possibly disappointing her fans.”
“So many ignorant stories out there no one is reading the official statement and these dumb asses are scaring my fans, shut up and let me heal. Stop scaring my family, friends, and fans.” Cyrus took on to twitter to clarify her stand.
However Miley Cyrus is still planning to begin the European leg of her tour in Amsterdam on May 02, 2104.
