Directed by one of Canada’s most acclaimed filmmakers’, Jean-Francois Poulliot (La Grande Seduction), the principal cast of ‘Dr. Cabbie’ includes Vinay Virmani (Breakaway), Adrianne Palicki (GI JOE), Kunal Nayyar (Big Bang Theory), Lillete Dubey (Monsoon Wedding), Mircea Monroe (Change Up), Rizwan Manji (Outsourced), Chris Diamantopoulos (The Three Stooges) and will also launch newcomer Isabelle.
The story of ‘Dr. Cabbie’ revolves around an unemployed doctor turned cab driver, who becomes a local hero when he converts his taxi into a mobile clinic. ‘Dr. Cabbie’ is the heart warming journey of a young Indian Doctor who immigrates to Canada with the selfless ambition of healing others while beginning a new life in the land of opportunity. ‘Dr. Cabbie’ discovers his true purpose and true love when he embarks upon this journey of a doctor turned cabbie.

Eros International will distribute ‘Dr. Cabbie’ in the India, scheduled to launch in the later part of 2013.
