[tps_footer]Do you remember the bad incident that happened two years back where the bare pics of Jennifer Lawrence was hacked from her computer and were posted online without her permission ?? This bad, embarrassing and insulting incident has been faced by many celebs in recent times. Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez and many more have been a victim of it. It’s such a shameful act by some hackers who cross there limits and interfere in other people’s personal lives and make those things public about them, that will ultimately be a humiliating experience for them. But now, it’s time for the real culprit to face the consequences and to even face a sentence between 18 months and five years in the jail.
It’s been reported by a leading tabloid that, “This week the FBI and other authorities unmasked the hacker responsible. New York Daily Newsreports that Ryan Collins, 36, plead guilty to a felony violation of the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act and unauthorised access to a protected computer. He faces between 18 months and five years in prison. It doesn’t seem like much but it does at least provide a stark warning to other hackers with similarly dark intentions. Collins managed to get illegal access to over 100 Apple and Google email accounts, some of which belonged to female celebrities, via a phishing scheme. David Bowdich, the Assistant Director in Charge of the FBI’s Los Angeles Field Office, explains that, ‘By illegally accessing intimate details of his victims’ personal lives, Mr. Collins violated their privacy and left many to contend with lasting emotional distress, embarrassment and feelings of insecurity.'”
It’s good to know that the shameful hacker Ryan Collins has been detained and it was too difficult to trace him for past two years but now FBI have successfully got their hands on this hacker. Although, the punishment that he will be facing is less for the kind of crime and offence he has committed. There are some shallow people on this planet who take stars and celebrities as public property and see them as soft targets, and some people certainly don’t know how to treat the other person with respect, irrespective of their professions. We all have a right to privacy and no one has a right to invade it until one reveals something too personal about themselves, willingly.
Here is what Jennifer Lawrence had stated earlier when this bad incident had happened and media kept asking her questions related to this, she said, “It is not a scandal. It is a se* crime. It is a se*ual violation. It’s disgusting.” We agree, it is disgusting and very offending but it’s past now and presently Jennifer, you have a reason to smile and be happy as the criminal has been caught up by FBI and he will have to pay the price for his offense. It’s really good to see stars and people standing up for their rights and making the main culprits suffer, instead of them suffering in silence.
Wayyy tooo goooo FBI for your dedication to always catch hold on the criminals and Jennifer Lawrence for always staying strong !![/tps_footer]
